I met the lovely Monique of Tipa Tipa for brunch in Brooklyn, and we caught up since the last time we met. It's been pretty much a whole year actually. How crazy! She is the cutest pregnant lady in the world, and I'm so excited for her baby shower! I've learned to knit, and now I want to learn to crochet so I can hopefully make a cute baby somethin' . It was a pretty busy day- after that I rushed home to prepare some last-minute things for our cub scout ceremony later, went to work, and then to scouts and we were there till 10pm. It was their Blue and Gold banquet- commemorating the establishment of cub scouts- so kind of like a birthday party. There was a lot of food and dessert, which I am a-ok with, and some pretty incomprehensible skits. Some of the boys moved up to boy scouts, and I might have gotten a little choked up because that group was the first gaggle of scouts I had when I started out last year.
